Program Assessment and Learning Outcome Achievement

Constructive alignment

Assessment is designed through constructive alignment among graduate profiles, program learning outcomes, course learning outcomes, learning activities, and assessment instruments. Formative assessment provides feedback during learning, while summative assessment evaluates achievement at the end of a unit or semester. Course teams review instruments and rubrics to support fairness and consistency.

Monitoring and review

Course learning outcomes are analysed each semester and aggregated to evaluate program learning outcomes. Monitoring includes student evaluation of teaching, lecturer and student attendance, alignment with course plans, grade distributions, outcome achievement, academic review meetings, and Internal Quality Audits. Findings inform improvements to course plans, teaching methods, assessment instruments, clinical supervision, and staff development through the PPEPP cycle.
